About
GENDRO is an international non-profit association established in Geneva in 2018. It works to identify and address gender gaps and biases in research and to integrate sex and gender dimensions into cross-disciplinary research. Its activities include convening the Gender, Evidence, and Health Network, advocating for gender-responsive research policies and practices, and supporting adoption of the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) guidelines through workshops, training and advocacy. Its relevance to women’s health lies in improving research evidence and health equity; its mandate is not exclusively focused on women.
